Hannah (Cooksey) Burt, Alumni

I am a twenty-something living my dream as a stay-at-home mama of 2 (almost 3). Before children, I worked as a paralegal for the nonprofit Freedom Foundation, where our mission was to protect our clients’ First Amendment rights. It was a bustling practice and I greatly enjoyed my time there. I graduated with a paralegal certificate from Oak Brook College of Law, and am certified through the National Association of Legal Assistants. I won Best College Speech from Constituting America in 2016. I was homeschooled from K-12 and loved it so much I’m starting to homeschool my preschooler.
