Question for Friday, March 14:
One of the most well known Federalist Papers, Federalist 51, contains this quote:
“In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”
Which Constitutional Scholar wrote the accompanying essay on this Federalist Paper?
Answer the question in the “reply” box below:
Today, the first to answer wins a copy of Constituting America National Youth Director, Juliette Turner’s Bestselling, “Our Constitution Rocks,” and is entered in a drawing at the end of the quiz for the Constituting America Goodie Bag!
That writer would be Professor John S. Baker.

Janine Turner
Hi Alys! Thank you for the compliment to Janine! You are correct that Janine did write an essay on Federalist #51, but she is not the answer we are looking for today, as she wrote essays on all 85 Federalist Papers in our series.
We hope you come back and keep participating with us, though, because we have lots more quiz questions planned!
Sincerely,
Cathy Gillespie
