Join Constituting America in Celebrating America 250

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, Americans have a unique opportunity to reflect on the ideas that shaped our nation and continue to guide its future. The principles of liberty, constitutional government, and civic responsibility remain as vital today as they were in 1776. Explore the history, documents, and individuals who helped establish the American experiment—and discover why understanding our founding is essential to preserving freedom for future generations.

Bring America250 to Your Classroom!

As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, Constituting America is bringing our founding principles directly to the next generation through our free George Washington Speaking Initiative.

  • Celebrating 250 Years: Our interactive, non-partisan sessions start at the very beginning with the Declaration of Independence, setting the stage for understanding the U.S. Constitution and how it impacts us today.
  • Exclusive America250 Giveaways: To make history tangible, we hand out commemorative pocket Constitutions and exclusive America250 stickers to students during our in-person school visits!

Whether in-person or via video conference, our tailored sessions on the Constitution and “How To Have A Civil Civic Conversation” are entirely free for your school or civic organization.
